01Scope & roles
Many of our customers are themselves regulated or carry AML obligations. Selllution provides tooling to help you meet those obligations; you remain responsible for your own regulatory compliance, risk assessment and reporting. Where required, you should appoint a nominated officer (MLRO) and maintain your own AML policy.
02What the Platform provides
- Customer due diligence — identity, sanctions and PEP screening via a connected provider, launched from contact records.
- Append-only audit log — an immutable record of checks and outcomes.
- Invoice gate — optionally block payment until a contact's AML check passes.
- Document handling — collection and storage of supporting evidence.
03Screening providers
Checks are performed by third-party providers you connect (for example identity-verification and screening services). Their results and methodology are governed by their terms; we surface the status and keep an audit trail.
04Records & retention
Check results and supporting evidence are retained to support your record-keeping obligations. You control retention periods within the limits the law requires.
05Your responsibilities
You are responsible for setting risk-based thresholds, reviewing flagged results, escalating and reporting suspicious activity to the relevant authorities, and training your staff. Selllution does not make regulatory determinations on your behalf.
